It's the first time i ever felt that i could relate to chinese songs. Somehow the lyrics mean so much. Too much. Had been listening to this song many times, over and over again.

Gosh, midyears are in a week's time and i've yet to start my revision. Really stressed up, I feel the need to live up to people's expectations. When they expect so much from me, all i can do is to try harder.

Getting quite cranky nowadays, but it's my fault seriously. Blame the weather and some people. Ha, some people really get on my nerves sometimes. They get so engrossed doing some things which most people would go, "What the...". Just too self absorbed i guess. The class is getting rather irritating as well, a group of them just can't seem to shut up and listen in tutorial. Slowing down the pace, i know i'm being mean since i've learnt the stuff before. But i do not see any effort in them trying to appear to listen or copy down the tutorial answers. At least try to pretend right. You can daydream for all you like, but don't keep talking for goodness sake. Ugh.

What happened to me? Everyday, i go to school, pretending to be happy. I miss us. I miss my besties. I miss the old me.

All at one go

Finally updating this pretty much abandoned site! Things have been alright. Survived orientation and SP programme. Guess i've adapted to the new class, but i still miss 09-1S25 girls. The class is just so different from last year. Some of them have really 'interesting' character. Hahaha. Oh well it's just another 7 to 8mths before the class will splits.

Back to the start of the year! During SP programme, we had to attend pottery lessons at Thow Kwang Pottery. Quite interesting but tiring. My end product is a freak house, it has a maggie looking roof -.- Hahaha. Then came the new jc1s 2 weeks later, got thrown into og a2 with nobody i knew. The amazing thing about people is that when you have no friends around yourself in a new environment, you'll really learn to step out of your comfort zone and try to mingle around. Tata that was what i did, and i met really nice people! Yeah that was how i survived academic orientation.

Went ms wong's house 2 weeks back to kind of bai nian. Met up with Mel finally! Amazingly we didn't get lost. J was there so it was abit awkward luckily he left early and the atmosphere got better hahaha. Learnt alot that day and i'm really looking forward to the next gathering/sleepover!

Sometimes i wonder if i've made the right choice when i see some of my friends doing so well in polys. 1.5 more years of hell, fun and stress. I hope i survive.

Sometimes i feel that i'm already over you, but it's very difficult not to be reminded of you. The things we used to do, the places we used to go and the long bus rides we used to take. Last night i was on the bus and i'm reminded of you again. Sigh.
That long phonecall a few days ago, what was the point of that? I sounded fine but i wasn't.

Hello 2010 :>

New Year new resolutions? But what's the point of having resolutions when you don't keep them haha! I guess 2010 resolution would be to study harder, stop being lazy.

Had an eventful week, met up with the bn clique. Been 5 years but mostly nothing changed, love them very very much. The usual "must have gossips" never fail to entertain all of us, though it's just the same old stories. Never gotten sick of them haha.
Went town today(again), been there twice this week. Singapore is so boring ugh, same old places. I want to go Bangkok! Hahaha. Platinum Shopping Mall i miss you very much i know you miss me alot too right.
Can't believe school is going to start soooooon, one more week to go. But there's guitar on monday, wednesday and friday next week, yikes yikes yikes. But yay, picnic at the Barrage with Michelle, Olivia and Jiawen on Tuesday :) Finally done something on our post promos to-do-list. Only one of the many written on that card :/

Yup bye! Got to start studying tmr. Plate Tectonics still haha, epic fail. Till then!

Bkk Trip!

Hi hi hi I'm back blogging and back from Bangkok! :> Pretty alright trip, not too much of excitment cause i've been there too many times. Pictures first! Not too many haha didn't bring a camera there as we were only there to shop and again, we've been there for the 6th or 7th time haha! These are all with my bro's 2.0 megapixel phone camera :/ So the quality sucks.

Day 1:

Breakfast at Macdonald's before we boarded cause we food on the flight obviously sucks. I returned the whole tray of food untouched lol. Luckily the flight to Bkk is only about 2hrs, but i hate the feeling on the plane. Gives my goosebumps :/ I guess i get air sickness easily just like my mum. After we touched down, there's this limo which is supposed to pick us up but the stupid driver got the time wrong and we had to wait for him for nearly 3hrs. Damn. So when we reached Baiyoke Sky hotel, left our luggages at the lobby and rushed to Chatuchak Weekend Market. Since it only opens on the weekends and half the day was already gone. Had lunch there, sticky rice with some random dishes like green mango salad with lots of chilli and salt i think. Shopped around bought lots of aroma oil and home decorations stuff but it's damn damn hot there! Kept buying drinks haha, drank coke like nobody's business cause it's super cheap about $0.50 for a big packet. I bought 2 pairs of havaianas for only $12! :> Dinner at the restuarant above the hotel, international buffet for only $20+ per person! 5 star hotel buffet for only that price. Shopped at the night market downstairs and went to massage! Only $7 an hour.

Day 2:

Breakfast at some shopping centre beside Baiyoke Sky and walked to Platinum Shopping mall. It's some new and huge shopping centre with apparently more than 1500shops inside :O Met some cchms people while walking around. But the place is very messy and complicated, kind of got lost in there. At night was shopping and dinner at CentralWorld and went to massage again.

Day 3:

Wokeup a bit later, took the free shuttle bus from the lobby of the hotel to Siam Paragon. It's like our NAC and Ion. All the boutiques, a lot of brands over there. Walked over to Siam square, Siam centre and then MBK. MBK is full of crap tho, a lot of ipod immitations -.- Dinner at some roadside stall i think and off for massage!

Day 4:

Took a cab to Yawaraj (Chinatown), the stupid taxi driver wanted a detour, luckily Dad caught him haha. There are lots of ah guas there, eventhough there is alrdy enough of them everywhere lol. Went there cause ah ma wanted to buy her dried groceries: fish maw and sea cucumber and cai poh zzz. I think she bought back like 2kgs of the cai poh, apparently the cai poh there is super nice and sweet and she's gonna give some to her friends. Haha.

Day 5:

Wokeup super early cause we had to check out of the hotel at 2pm. Went back to Platinum Mall for last minute shopping. Basically grabbed anything that we saw was nice lol. Anyway the clothes in Bkk are not try-able. They provide a sarong for customers tho, something like a long tube dress and you wear it over yourself to change underneath. At 2pm went back to the hotel to check out, left the baggages at the lobby and continued shopping nearby and then went for the last session of massage! The limo came to send us to the airport and it was home sweet home! Uncle Benny came to send us to the airport and when we came back he came pick us up from the airport again. So nice of him, espcially he had to wakeup at 4am to send us there and came at 1plus am to pick us lol.

The massaging service in Bkk is totally awesome espcially after a whole day of shopping and aching legs. After one hour, it feels like you can shop for another 10hrs again! Haha. And i miss my tom yum soup, seafood fried rice, phad thai and many many more nice food. : (The Macdonald's there is super cheap too, an upsized meal would only cost about $4! And i wish Sg has such cheap manicure services lol, i would then do my nails every other day heheh.

P/s: Olivia and Michelle! Let's go Bkk together after our A's okie! It'd be so much fun :>

Major turnoff. Some people are just a total pain in the ass. Seriously, who do you think we are? You guys are the ones who need it and you are the ones who have a favour to ask from us. We do not owe you anything. And you say it as if the answer will be a yes. You assume that we will have everything you want and that we must fufill your favour. I'm sorry, we're not such easy people. Higher education does not equals to higher authority. Please get this right. Though we're related somehow, sometimes i don't even want to admit your existence. Related people do not treat each other like that. You guys are just a bunch of pragmatic, too down-to-earth people. Yikes. So pretentious! So what if you are more well off. Fortunately for us, and unfortunately for you, we do not feel inferior at all.

Enough of ranting. Ha i feel so much better letting it all out. I don't think anyone understands what i'm talking. Thank goodness for the existence of my maternal relatives. If not i would have doubted the F word. Not referring to the four letters one.
